The SASSA appeal portal allows you to lodge an appeal if your SRD grant application for July 2025 has been rejected or if your monthly social grant has not been received due to a declined status.
To appeal your grant, visit the SASSA appeal portal at srd.sassa.gov.za/appeals and enter your ID number and mobile number.
Your appeal for SASSA grant requires you to explain why you are appealing, why you believe the SASSA decision is incorrect, and describe that you are still financially insufficient and eligible for the SRD or any other social grant payment.
After submitting your appeal, you can track its progress online by checking your SASSA appeal status for July 2025.
