July 2025 SASSA Child Support Grant Status Check: Payment Date
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed that child support grant payments will be processed on Friday, 4 July 2025.
Beneficiaries are advised to check child support grant status online at srd.sassa.gov.za to ensure grant is approved and avoid delays that could result in missed or reversed payments.
To check your status, enter your South African ID number and the mobile number registered with SASSA.
Once your grant is approved, your child support grant for July 2025 will be paid according to the confirmed July 2025 payment dates.
July 2025 SASSA Pay Day for Child Support Grant
SASSA child support grant beneficiaries who care for orphaned children will receive their payments on the confirmed pay day Friday, 4 July 2025.

This month, children grant payments will be processed between 08:00 AM and 04:30 PM on the exact payment date and includes any linked grants such as the foster child grant or child support grant top-up.
The child support grant top-up (CSG-TP) is an additional amount provided on top of the standard child support grant (CSG). It offers increased financial support to help meet the essential needs of vulnerable children and their caregivers, especially where the regular grant is insufficient.
If your child support grant was declined, you can appeal SASSA for July 2025. The Department of Social Development will review your appeal application to determine whether your child grant be reinstated for continued SASSA support.
Update: If your child support grant status shows pending banking details for July 2025, you can now update your banking information online by visiting ‘Change banking details‘. Once verified, all future payments will be deposited directly into your account.
