Check SASSA Disability Grant Status for September 2025 Payments
- To check your SASSA Disability Grant status for the September 2025 payment, visit SASSA website at www.sassas.co.za
- Provide your ID and phone number, then confirm your grant is approved before checking your disability grant payment date for September.
Payment distribution for the SASSA disability grant (SDG) will take place from 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, 3 September 2025. On this payday, eligible beneficiaries with permanent disabilities will also receive the additional Grant-in-Aid to assist with caregiver expenses.
SASSA pays the approved disability grant directly into the beneficiary’s bank account, with funds reflecting within 2 to 3 business days. Beneficiaries who have selected other payment points can access their grant using the Postbank Gold Card at Postbank ATMs and authorised retail shops.
Important Notice: SASSA is currently conducting identity verification through the Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme (ICROP) for September. This review applies to recipients who did not declare their income or any change in personal circumstances (marital status or living conditions) since applying for the disability social grant.
