SASSA Grant Applications Open for July 2025
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has opened grant applications for July 2025. This applies to all social grants, including the Older Person’s Grant, Disability Grant, Child Support Grant, and the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) R370 Grant.
SASSA Grant Applications Open for July 2025
SASSA applications for July 2025 are available to all qualifying individuals, including South African citizens, permanent residents, and asylum seekers with valid permits.
You can submit your grant application online at sassa.gov.za or by visiting your nearest SASSA office. If you live in a rural area, applying online is a suitable option to avoid long-distance travel and waiting in queues at the local office.
Applications for July 2025 are now open for all SASSA Grant programmes. You can apply for SRD R370 Grant, including the Old Age Grant, Disability Grant, Child Support Grant, and their linked grants.
Make sure all your documents are accurate and up to date. This includes your South African ID, valid permit, phone number, banking details, and proof of income.
Important Note for SASSA Applicants
To receive your grant payment in July 2025, you must apply before 30 June 2025. Applications sent after 1 July will be processed for August 2025.
