• SRD SASSA R350 payment starts from June 26 to 31 June 2025

SASSA start commencing the SRD grant payments from Monday 26 June 2025 to Saturday 31 June 2025. Beneficiaries of the SRD program will now receive R370 (ZAR), an increase from the previous amount of R350 South African Rand.

Update: The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) SASSA R350 grant has increased from R350 to R370 payments, providing an additional R20 for beneficiaries. Both new and existing recipients benefit from the increased payments throughout the year 2025.

1. Go to the SASSA status check for payments https://sassas.co.za
2. On the SASSA website, click on the SASSA Status Check section.
3. Enter your South African ID and the cell phone number registered for the grant.
4. Click Status Check button to view your SASSA grant status results.
